This item was removed from a vehicle involved in an accident on January 18th, 2015, by an acquaintance who owns a car repair shop. It was stored there until the shop closed down, and I acquired it as part of a warehouse clearance. (Although I haven't confirmed its operation myself, the previous owner mentioned it, and the masking tape indicated "H27 2/20 OK.")

The condition at the time of pickup on April 18, 2017, is unknown because the vehicle inspection certificate and other details from the removed vehicle are missing. I acquired the engine and harness as an assembly, and the harness included an engine CPU with the part number "89560-97512 / 112000-7800 DENSO." I was able to determine the approximate year of manufacture from the part number, so please consider this as a rough estimate before bidding.

I haven't been able to test the engine's start-up at the time of acquisition, but the previous owner said it was running well with no white smoke or unusual noises until it was removed. However, since I haven't confirmed this myself, please consider this as a rough estimate and understand that it's intended for maintenance and parts.

According to the previous owner's car shop, the engine was started when the vehicle was picked up after the accident, loaded onto a tow truck, and moved slightly around the property. (Please consider this as a reference only, as I have not verified this myself.)

Regarding the condition of the item, as far as I could tell, as of April 19, 2017, the crankshaft rotates manually, so there doesn't seem to be any seizure. However, since I haven't been able to fully test its operation, please understand that this is a repair base, parts base, core base, or junk item before bidding.

While there doesn't seem to be any major damage that would make installation difficult until removal, the engine has been immobile for several years, so please understand that this is a repair base, core base, or parts base before bidding.

According to the previous owner, it was working without problems until around February 20, 2015.

As this is a used item, there may be overlooked scratches, stains, signs of use, wear and tear due to age, etc. Therefore, please refrain from bidding if you are overly concerned about these things or do not understand the nature of used items. As per our agreement, no claims or returns will be accepted. The oil has been drained, so please add oil before use.

Therefore, to avoid problems, especially if you are concerned about potential complaints after arrival or damage/scratches due to oversight or storage, please inspect the item in person regardless of location and purchase only after you are satisfied.

Some bidders (winners) request to cancel their bids after bidding or winning the auction due to personal reasons (accidental bid, hospitalization, unfortunate event, etc.). However, this is an auction, so please observe proper etiquette and take responsibility for completing the transaction once you have placed a bid. While we strive to maintain the item's condition as much as possible during shipping, please understand that minor scratches or slight deformations may occur during storage.

Shipping is a flat rate of 7800 yen (excluding tax) for Honshu via Seino Transportation (prepaid). (8800 yen (excluding tax) for Hokkaido and Okinawa). For remote islands, parts of Okinawa/Hokkaido, and special areas, additional transit fees will apply. Please feel free to ask in the question section for a separate quote. (Please note that for remote islands and special areas, delivery may be to a port only or delivery may not be possible.)

As of November 17, 2014, Seino Transportation no longer provides insurance for used car parts. Therefore, we cannot compensate for damage caused by shipping accidents, and we cannot accept returns or refunds. Please understand this before bidding.

Previously, a malicious bidder swapped out the item, and we made an exception to accept the return and refund. However, the item sent was clearly not the one we shipped, but rather a damaged replacement. We have also received complaints in the past regarding missing or missing parts. Therefore, we cannot accept returns or refunds for any reason after shipping. For high-value or easily damaged items, we are able to arrange a handover or physical inspection if our schedules align, so please inspect the item in person.

In the event of a listing error or our fault, and if we make an exception for a refund/return, only the winning bid amount will be refunded. Labor costs and shipping (round trip) will be the responsibility of the winning bidder. Furthermore, due to past instances where bidders complained 10 days to 6 months after receiving the item, we require that you check the condition of the item immediately upon arrival.
