Recent vehicles have accelerator pedals that are set further back, which can cause discomfort during pedal work, including heel-and-toe. A spacer of the optimal thickness corrects the accelerator pedal position. This improves the distance to the brake pedal, allowing for smoother pedal transitions in both automatic and manual transmission vehicles. Installation is easy; simply remove the accelerator pedal nut, insert the spacer, and re-tighten. Checking for looseness after driving is recommended.
