Suzuki RG200 Gamma Ohlins Sten Chamber Spare Engine Included

I acquired this from a shop about 10 years ago and modified it. The modifications include a Gamma 250 FRP cowl, a general-purpose FRP seat, rearsets (the reserve tank has also been replaced with a tube), and a Lips stainless steel exhaust chamber. The tires are Pirelli Rosso III, almost brand new front and rear. The exterior, meter, and rearview mirrors have been replaced with good quality parts. Mileage is unknown. Here are some things to be aware of: 1. The subframe has been cut and modified to mount the seat. Some force is required to mount the seat. (There are some places where the screw holes don't quite line up.) This is commonly known as "flying squirrel" behavior. This occurs in older Gamma 200s when the carb needle wears down, causing the mid-range to become rich. The mid-range becomes a bit muddy (like a 'monmonmon' sound), and then it suddenly revs up with a roar once it exceeds that point. I believe there is a Keyster setting kit, so I will include it. 2. The engine is very difficult to start. This happens if it hasn't been ridden for a while. It feels like there's no gasoline getting through. Almost all Gamma 200s seem to exhibit this symptom. Also, since the engine can only be started with the electric starter, the battery dies very quickly. I had it connected to an OptiMate, pulled the choke, closed the throttle completely, turned the starter, and once the engine started with the first combustion, I slightly released the choke and used the throttle to prevent the engine from stalling. I thought the fuel cock might be faulty, so I installed a new one, but the result was the same. I replaced the battery about two years ago, but it still dies quickly, probably because of its low capacity. 3. The CDI is prone to failure. The Gamma 200 CDI is notorious for failing. Furthermore, new parts are no longer available, so repair is the only option, and this unit also suddenly failed last year and had to be repaired. There are no scratches on the fairings from falls, but there is a crack in the paint on the under cowl and a dent in the seat sponge. I will update this page with anything I notice as I go along. I don't want any trouble, so please inspect the vehicle in person if possible. If you do so properly, I will also include compulsory liability insurance. For delivery, if you are near a Kyushu Expressway interchange, I will bring it to you at a time that suits you and at cost (to be discussed). If you require land transport, please arrange it yourself, and I will deliver it to the depot at cost. Accessories include the original stock muffler and a spare engine (purchased in working condition, untested, left unused for 8 years).

Compulsory automobile liability insurance is valid until October 2027. Frankly, it's a bike that's not for everyone. While it's less prone to revving when riding at full throttle, it does appear when the RPMs are lowered. In its stock condition, it achieved a time of just over 1 minute 20 seconds at the HSR Kyushu race.
