This is a complete set of shop-spec Öhlins adjustable coilovers that were used on a Mazda Miata (NA6CE).

They were removed when the vehicle was sold and have been stored indoors for some time since then.

Besides the NA6CE Miata, they can also be used on the NA8, NB6, and NB8 models.

■ Specifications and Springs

Shock absorber specifications: Originally a C-ring type, it has been modified to a screw-type adjustable coilover with a threaded sleeve (cylinder) that fits over the top. A "Ooyama Auto Service" sticker is affixed to the shell case. (Please check the photos.) Upper mount: The rear is definitely a stroke-up upper mount specification. (This specification addresses the rear stroke deficiency unique to the Miata.) Springs: KGM (kg/mm) springs are installed (please check the photos for the logo). The spring rates are Front: 10k / Rear: 8k. Bonus (Accessories): I will include two homemade damping adjustment tools that I used at the time (hex wrenches fixed to the caps of DAKARA plastic bottles). One is fixed at a slight angle, but it was still usable for adjustment and I found it very useful. Please note that this is just a bonus item, so if you don't need it, please discard it after winning the auction.

■ Usage and Subjective Impression of Ride

I have experienced four different suspension setups on my Roadster, and with a front rate of 10k / rear 8k, I felt this one was a little stiff. It might have been possible to achieve a better setting by adjusting the damping force higher, but since it's been a while since I removed it, I can't say for sure. I think this setup is recommended for those who want to enjoy a crisp, sporty driving setting.

The ride height was lowered by about 3cm, and I used it for city driving + a little extra (occasionally driving a bit faster).

■ Product Condition (Operation Check)

Regarding Oil Leakage: Upon detailed inspection for this listing, a slight oil leak was found on one of the rear suspension components, noticeable to the touch. Bump Stops/Dust Boots: Dust boots are not included (as shown in the photos). Bump stops are present but show signs of age-related deterioration. Due to the time elapsed since removal, and the aforementioned oil leak and deterioration, to prevent any issues, this item will be listed as "Operation Unconfirmed, Base Item for Overhaul (Junk)." Please carefully examine the images for detailed information on the suspension components.
